Native American Jewelry
Native American jewelry of the Southwest reflects generations of artistry, tradition, and cultural expression. Navajo, Zuni, and Hopi artists developed distinctive styles using silver, turquoise, coral, shell, and gemstones. Navajo silversmiths became known for squash blossom necklaces, naja pendants, concha belts, bracelets, and rings, while Zuni artists mastered intricate stonework and Hopi artists became celebrated for silver overlay. Today, these traditions continue through contemporary Native American jewelry admired and collected worldwide.
