Georgian Jewelry
Georgian jewelry, dating broadly from 1714 to 1830, represents some of the rarest and most desirable antique jewelry. Entirely handmade, these pieces often feature rose cut and old mine cut diamonds, colorful gemstones, natural pearls, and distinctive silver topped gold settings. Floral motifs, bows, clusters, crosses, and mourning jewelry were characteristic of the period. Today, Georgian jewelry is especially prized for its rarity, early gemstone cuts, craftsmanship, and historical significance.
