Art Nouveau jewelry, emerging around the turn of the twentieth century, transformed jewelry into expressive wearable art. Inspired by nature, fantasy, and the female form, designs featured flowing lines, flowers, insects, serpents, and ethereal figures. Enamel, opals, moonstones, pearls, glass, and other unusual materials were favored for their artistic effect. Today, Art Nouveau jewelry remains highly collectible for its rarity, craftsmanship, and imaginative design.
