A large, hexagonal-cut smoky brown sapphire. The stone is semi-translucent with a moody, brownish-grey tint. Inside the gemstone, natural needle-like mineral inclusions creating fine parallel streaks and internal character. The stone is securely housed in a low-profile hexagonal bezel setting crafted from polished yellow gold. The slim metal border perfectly traces the sharp, clean lines of the six-sided cut, with a modern double shank. The band splits into two distinct, parallel gold wire bands that flank the sides of the setting, for a lightweight yet architectural look.
